FC ONE Rocket fought-back to draw 1-1 vs Enugu Rangers International FC in a pre-season friendly match on Sunday September 17.
The game was played on Sunday morning at the Practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, same venue the Flying Antelopes suffered a 1-0 loss to Akwa United FC on Saturday evening.
Both teams shared possession stats in the first half but it was Nigeria Premier Football League side Enugu Rangers International FC who had the best chances but failed to hit the target as score remained 0-0 at halftime.
Six minutes into the second second half, Enugu Rangers striker Jonas Emmanuel broke the deadlock when he scored from a well worked pass from teammate Kareem Ogunleye.
The young FC ONE Rocket players were not deterred and so pressed forward in search of an equalizer to keep their impressive showing in pre-season.
In the 78th minute, FC ONE Rocket found the equalizer as a cross from the left flank was slammed home by Nigeria Youth International, Charles Etim.
FC ONE Rocket had two clear-cut chances to score and take the win but were let down by poor finishing as it finished 1-1.
Enugu Rangers International FC have returned to base where preparations will continue in wait for the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
