As the Super Eagles face challenging opponents, including Côte d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau in the group stage, Osimhen’s performance is expected to be crucial to the team’s success.
With Nigeria gearing up for the tournament, Mikel who has always been a big fan of his young compatriot highlighted the forward as his top pick for the Player of the Tournament honor.
“If I need to pick a player who will probably win the Player of the Tournament, I will go for Victor Osimhen,” Mikel stated.
